Irena Pasaric,who returns as the Sugar Plum Fairy, is Prima Ballerina with the Croatian National Ballet under Ivan Nage. Pasaric was principle dancer with the PNB for three years and later with the Atlanta Ballet. Her repertoire consists of the leading roles in Carmen, Swan Lake, Don Quixote, Giselle, Romeo and Juliet, The Nutcracker, and many other classical and contemporary ballets. Ms. Pasaric was awarded the Croatian National Arts Award for superb artistry and the Ana Roje Award as outstanding performer of the year. She has danced galas throughout the world and is in her second year as the Sugar Plum Fairy with Olympic Ballet.
               
 
Stephane Fournial, was born in Paris where he began his dance training with Solange Golovine, Raymond Franchetti and Rosella Hightower. He was soloist with the Ballet de Marseille under Roland Petit, with the Opera du Nord of lille and with theBadisches Staatstheater in Karisruhe. Fournial was Guest Artist in Tokyo and the Principal Guest Artist in Atlanta. He has an extensive repertoire of ballets including Giselle, The Nutcracker, Romeo and Juliet, Carmen,and Don Quixote. Fournial danced many years as the partner of Carta Fracci with performances at La Scala and major theatres throughout the world. In July 1998 he took part in the Homage to Leonide Massine organized by the Leonide Massine Foundation in the Programme Kaleidoscope of the European Community, performing a pas de deux from the ballet Les Presages. At present he has contracts with many European theatres as Guest Soloist.
